I found this article to be very funny. It was well writting and thought out. I love horror flicks but Michael Myers wasn’t one to actually scare me in anyway but he was just like Jason from Friday the 13th. Pretty much a mute indestructible killer. Granted, he really kills the crap out of people in the movies but I guess he was good enough for a few sequels. Enjoy the linkage!

The Wolfman Trailer

I was surprised to find this little gem while browsing Youtube. The Wolfman appears to be a remake of an old black and white film. The lineup of actors plus the special effects are actually well done from what I can see in the preview. I look forward to checking this one out next year.

Kungfu Star found dead!?

So I was doing my usual browsing of the internet when I get free time and I came across some bad news. David Carradine, who was in the Kung-fu series and Kill Bill was found dead in a Bangkok hotel. They claim it was suicide which to me seems strange for a person like him. Not that I’m spinning some conspiracy or anything. I didn’t know the guy personally but just struck me as odd that during the filming of a movie he was working on that he would go and off himself.

All the shows and movies he was in, he never seemed like a cookie cutter actor. He had his own way of representing the characters he played and they all didn’t sound or act the same. I think he was a good actor in the few roles he had and he will be missed.

The Princess Bride

The Princess Bride is not a bad movie to see if you haven’t seen it yet. It has some known comedians and actors in it as well as a cameo role by Andre the Giant from way back in the day. The movie is cheesy but that’s the point!

My favorite scene is the battle of wits between the black pirate Roberts and the sicilian,”Inconceivable!”. I found a youtube excerpt of the scene so I’ll link it below for your viewing pleasure.

“Never go against a sicilian when death is on the line! ah hah! Ah haha!” *keels over*

What better way to outsmart the little guy than poison your drink and his without him knowing you are immune to the poison! For those few that read my site, what is your favorite scene or character from the movie and why?
