Time Flies When You’re Having Fun!
by Grimblast on Dec.22, 2011, under The Usual Blargh
Yeah, I’ve not been keeping up over the months as I planned but I assure you I’m still around! I was busy with doing some coding over the past few months on top of trying to work on a new site design for my other site. I ended up getting a nifty theme for it so I changed gears and ended up gathering data about the new Star Wars: The Old Republic game. After I played beta, I was instantly hooked on the game play. I especially like the fact that what you choose as a dialogue choice affects your outcome in your own personal story in the MMO. Anyways, I might look into updating this personal sites theme but gotta pry myself away from all the other stuff I’m working on/playing so stay tuned as always!
Several Months and a Move later

Now that I’ve found the time(and some mental capacity) to post something new, I have had an eventful past few months. I bought a new home, had a dog pass away, and got busy with some personal projects. It’s been a rollercoaster of life that’s kept me away from my blog. Still, I’ll make efforts to post my useless rants and linkage here when I get the time. Time is what I seem to always be short on.
Busy Busy Busy!

Well, with work, Starcraft 2, and WOW, I’ve been keeping pretty busy. I recently started doing a bit of cardio exercise and changing my diet to lose weight. Its been challenging for sure but I’ll pull through it!. Changing ones diet really isn’t that difficult and I must say, I do enjoy the new food I eat. Food that is healthy for you doesn’t taste like crap and in small portions, its more filling than I thought it would be. Of course, keeping up with the exercise every day is a big deal. Especially since my job has me sitting for most of the day.
An Act of Random Will

For some reason today, while sitting at work, I decided it was time to get my hair cut short. For those that didn’t know, I had grown my hair very long over the course of 2 to 3 years. The barber was in shock that I wanted it cut due to the way my hair naturally curls when it is long. I pretty much wanted short hair thanks to the super hot summer and the tons of maintenance long hair requires. So, within a half hour, my hair was made short. I donated my 10inch segment of hair to a program for cancer patients so it could be put towards making a wig. I like the long hair but this year’s weather doesn’t like it!
Another Birthday has past, and I don’t feel older
by Grimblast on May.11, 2010, under The Usual Blargh
That’s right, May 5th was my birthday but I don’t actually feel another year older. I do feel wiser though. Wise enough to know to take vacation from work on my birthday, haha! It was a nice vacation and birthday. No stress to deal with and I actually felt good about it. For the past few years, I can only remember how stressful my birthdays have been since I’ve always worried about other stuff that I didn’t have to worry about. Go figure! Maybe with age I’m starting to worry less about things. I have a habit of putting the weight of a problem on my shoulders and it can be unhealthy at times.
Screwing around online

I haven’t had much to post about lately. It’s been so busy with work and company that I just haven’t had the time for much else. Next week I should have something to put up on here. Until then, hang in there!
Slow start but its a post!

Ok, so I’m slow to post. I did fix a permissions issue so I can start posting pictures in a much easier fashion. I hope to add content with some eye candy in the next few weeks so here’s hoping it’s worth reading!
Not so wise now are ya?

After a recent visit to the dentist, it has come to my attention I need to have my wisdom’s pulled. I did a little talking to my best friend since he had his done and it shouldn’t be that big of a deal to have done. Everyone else I spoke to just simply scared the be-jesus out of me about it. My teeth aren’t crooked or rotten so it shouldn’t be that bad of a procedure. It’s the amount of time for healing that kind of sucks but better that than a future problem that would suck at an older age.
